Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Notice for REKLA LTD (doing business as Rekla.ai) ("we", "us", or "our") describes how and why we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you visit rekla.ai, an independent website that reviews and recommends AI marketing tools — currently Plai and HighLevel — and earns affiliate commissions when you sign up through our links.
Rekla.ai does not offer its own software, accounts, or paid products. We don't ask you to register, and we don't process payments. The personal information we handle is limited to what's described below.
Questions or concerns? If you don't agree with this notice, please don't use the site. If you have questions, contact us at legal@rekla.ai.
Summary of Key Points
- What we collect: your name/email only if you contact us; IP address, browser/device data, and pages viewed automatically via analytics; cookies (see below).
- Sensitive data: we do not process any special category (sensitive) personal information.
- Third parties: we don't collect information from third parties, but we do share limited data with our analytics and affiliate partners (see Section 4).
- Your rights: depending on where you live, you can access, correct, or delete your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. See Section 10.
1. What Information Do We Collect?
Information you provide to us
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide — for example, if you email us, use a contact form, or (if offered in future) subscribe to updates. This may include your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, we and our analytics providers automatically collect certain technical information that doesn't identify you by name, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and time spent on the site. We use this to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure. Specifically, we currently use:
- Google Analytics (Analytics 4) — traffic and usage reporting.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session/heatmap analytics to understand how visitors use the site.
2. How Do We Process Your Information?
We process personal information to: operate and improve the site; respond to your inquiries; keep the site secure and prevent abuse; understand which content and recommendations are useful to visitors; and measure how visitors interact with our affiliate links. We only process your information when we have a valid legal reason to do so (see Section 3).
3. What Legal Bases Do We Rely On?
If you're in the EU or UK, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR:
- Consent — for non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing). You control this through our cookie banner and can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — for keeping the site secure, understanding aggregate usage, and improving our content, balanced against your rights and expectations.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.
4. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Information?
We don't sell your personal information. We may share limited information with:
- Analytics providers — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to help us understand site usage (see Section 6).
- Affiliate partners — Plai and HighLevel, when you click through to their sites (see Section 7). We do not hand your personal data to them directly; their own tracking sets in on their own domain once you land there.
- Hosting and technical service providers who help us run the site, under contracts that restrict their use of your data to providing that service.
- Legal or regulatory authorities, if required by law, or in connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition).
5. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?
Yes. We use a cookie consent tool (FAZ Cookie Manager) that lets you choose which categories of cookies to allow before any non-essential cookie is set. The categories are:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function; always on, no consent needed.
- Analytics — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, off by default until you consent.
- Marketing/advertising — used if we run any retargeting or ad-measurement in future; off by default until you consent.
You can change your cookie choices at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" widget on the site, or by adjusting your browser settings. A full, itemized list of cookies in use will be published on our Cookie Policy page once the site is live on WordPress.
We recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out request for targeted advertising and data sale/sharing under applicable US state laws.
6. Analytics Providers
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. See Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity for anonymized session analytics (heatmaps and usage patterns). See Microsoft's privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
7. Affiliate Program and Tracking
Rekla.ai participates in the affiliate programs run by Plai and HighLevel. When you click an affiliate link on our site, you're taken to their website, and they — not Rekla.ai — set a tracking cookie or referral parameter on their own domain to attribute the referral to us and calculate any commission we may earn. We do not receive your personal information as part of this process; we may only see aggregate, non-identifying click and conversion counts in our own affiliate dashboards. Plai's and HighLevel's own privacy policies govern any data they collect once you're on their site.
8. Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?
Rekla Ltd is based in the United Kingdom. Our analytics providers (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) are US-based companies, which means some technical data may be processed in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognized under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable to each provider.
9. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
Since we don't operate user accounts, most of what we collect is short-lived analytics data, retained only as long as our analytics providers' default retention periods (typically 14 months for Google Analytics, per Google's standard settings). If you email us, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward for our records, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
10. What Are Your Privacy Rights?
If you're in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or Canada, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; to restrict or object to processing; and, where applicable, to data portability. You can exercise these rights by emailing legal@rekla.ai. If you're in the EEA or UK and believe we're processing your data unlawfully, you can complain to your national data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
If you're a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the right to know, access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 5. To exercise these rights, email legal@rekla.ai.
We do not currently respond to browser Do-Not-Track (DNT) signals, as no uniform technical standard exists for them, but we do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) as noted above.
11. Do We Collect Information From Minors?
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (or the equivalent age of majority in your jurisdiction). If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us at legal@rekla.ai and we'll take steps to delete it.
12. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited personal information we handle. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
13. Do We Make Updates to This Notice?
Yes — we'll update this notice as needed to stay compliant with applicable law and to reflect changes to the site. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
